About Me

 The mission of Together in Unity began in 2016 where I began working on a concept that environmental education connected the dots for people in their health and wellness. 

I develop inclusive health communication materials and marketing with a neurodevelopmental diversity focus as a way to bridge the gap in understanding and promote empathy and health advocacy. As a subject matter expert in Health Communication and Health and Behavior Studies, I completed the Doctor of Education degree at Columbia University in New York City.  I had the unique experience of working with clinical psychologists, physicians and the academic community to address community health as a way of cultivating relationships in the doctor-patient paradigm, advocating for health needs of patients, and understanding the compassion and care needed to address health concerns. I also built Together in Unity to emphasize the importance of working in green spaces and creating built structures with green designs to promote health, wellness and wholeness. Also, as a subject matter expert in Environmental Conservation and Environmental Sustainability (MA, New York University) I promote health and wellness activities in environmental education to uplift and encourage people to advance their health regimen and cultivate an individual sense of wellness to thrive within their own communities.

Through international work, I work directly with individuals, families, and organizations to build health communication infrastructures. This work enhances the visibility and accessibility of trustworthy health information by strategically refining search criteria with technical accuracy.  By increasing the knowledge level of SEO optimization, I provide social support through mentoring and coaching to help with navigating where to get help, who to contact, and how they should address their health concerns. I aim to be a person’s initial health advocate while helping them build their own self advocacy.
